The 2018 Dodge Challenger has a new option for the R/T, Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat models. As you can see in the photo above, the Challenger now has a flared fender option called the Widebody. This new Widebody allows these special Challengers to roll on extra wide wheels and tires for more added traction and grip. The aluminum wheels measure 20 x 11 inches wide front and rear! The tires size up as 305/35 x 20 and they are matched up to an electric power steering system that has a choice of steering modes.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T still has the 5.7 liter Hemi engine as standard and you can still get a larger 6.4 liter 392 Hemi engine. The Shaker hood and Scat Pack Shaker are still available and you can get either the 6-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The 392 Challenger models have an adaptive damping suspension and extra cost Brass Monkey wheels.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat has new exterior emblems, new air catcher headlamps with the Hellcat logo. The Hellcat wheels have a new extra cost Matte Vapor finish, new Brembo brake caliper colors choices and a new gunmetal stripe option that runs from the front bumper over the hood, roof, and trunk.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT has been rated at 30 mpg on the highway, making it one of the most fuel efficient cars in this model range. The Challenger GT is now the only all wheel drive muscle car coupe in the world, and it allows daily driving in all 4 seasons.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon is a factory drag car that pumps out 840 horsepower on high octane fuel. The Demon contains several upgrades from the Hellcat to produce this type of power. The Demon is the first factory car that covers the quarter mile in less than 10 seconds. The car has been tested at 9.65 seconds and was outlawed by the NHRA in its factory produced status. Since that time, Dodge has introduced a bolt in roll bar which will allow NHRA racing by any owner/driver. The Demon is also the first factory car that can pull a wheelstand or what is commonly referred to as a wheelie. In order to perform like this, the car had to be lightened. From the factory, it only comes with a drivers seat. The passenger seat is optional. The back seat is optional. Skinny front drag wheels and tires are optional, and the Demon comes with sticky street tires for maximum traction. There is a unique Demon hood and cold air induction system.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon has a significant horsepower increase over the Hellcat because of several reasons such as, a larger volume supercharger, increased boost, a liquid to air intercooler chiller system, an after drag race chiller that continues to cool the supercharger when the engine is not running, and a higher red line of 6,500 RPM.
When you use racing fuel with an octane of over 100, the engine will be able to produce 840 HP. If you are using 91 octane on the street, the engine will get about 808 HP.
Yes, it comes with a complete factory warranty 3 year/36,000 miles on the car and 5 year/60,000 mile limited powertrain warranty.
They are only going to build 3000 models for the US and 300 models for Canada.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger continues it’s retro styling cues from the 1971 model and reapplies them to this years’ model. New hoods for the R/T, continued performance from the Scat Pack models with their distinctive emblems and trim. Quarter mile performance from all the models are something only a few could achieve during the classic muscle car era. Today, many Challengers cut easy 12 second quarter miles which many owners had to perform significant modifications to their late sixties early seventies models to achieve. With the Hellcat you can run low 11 sec quarter miles on street tires and with the Demon you are into the nines. This type of performance is available for you today at one of our dealerships.
